This is a shot in the dark, but maybe someone can help. A few years ago I heard part of a performance in a park in Bellaire, Northern Michigan (it was part of a weekly summer concert series). Two gentlemen were playing (two guitars or maybe guitar and banjo). The song I heard was about Michigan and that may even be the name of the song since it was used often in the chorus.

It was a terrific song and I have often wondered since hearing it who these artists were and what the song was so that I could buy a recording. Does anyone know who I may have heard playing and what the song was? I have contacted the Bellaire Chamber of Commerce about who it may have been but haven't had any luck.
