Hello! Welcome to my music blog for michiganfolklive.com! Listening to music, especially when it’s a live performance of a favorite artist, is a true passion of mine. Since the start of 2008, I’ve seen concerts in Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Jackson, Lansing, Livonia, and Walled Lake in Michigan, as well as in Bloomington, Danville, Goshen, and Indianapolis in Indiana (these earlier in the year when gas prices made weekend road trips more affordable). Chances are I’ve seen some of you at previous concerts and/or will be seeing you at future ones. I live in the Lansing area, work full time for MSU Libraries, and enjoy travel, photography, and reading in addition to my passion for music. I’m excited to be contributing to this fantastic website for folk and roots music enthusiasts, and I look forward to sharing concert reports (and possibly some CD reviews, too) with interested readers.
